The passing of  Beatrice Jane (Grandma) Loew

  Loew, Beatrice Jane Keefer, 91, formerly of Suncrest Ave., Wheeling, died Tuesday, September 20, 2005 in the Bishop H. Joseph Continuous Care Center, Wheeling.

She was born April 13, 1914 in Wheeling, WV., the daughter of the late Clarence and Christina Franz Keefer.

Mrs. Loew was a former caretaker and sitter for the elderly; a  member of Warwood Presbyterian Church, Wheeling; and also member of the Clearview
Homemakers. In addition to her parents, she  was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Loew in 1964; three brothers; and  a sister. Surviving are a daughter, Paula Stephan of Roneys Point, WV.; four grandchildren, Edgar D. Stephan, III of Armstrong County, PA.,  Orion E. Stephan of Roneys Point, WV.,  Bruce A. Stephan of Columbus, OH., and  Christina P. Kocher of Roanoke, VA.; six great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law,
Mary Lou Keefer of Wheeling and Eleanor Keefer of Indian Harbor Beach, Fl.

There was no visitation.  Funeral services and interment were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Kepner Funeral Home, National Road at Bethany Pike, Wheeling.
 

The passing of Paige A. Stephan

  Paige A. (Peroni) Stephan, 44, Passed away peacefully on a sunny morning August 25, 2006 at Zusman Hospice House in Columbus, OH after a long illness. Paige possessed courage, optimism, great strength, and an inner beauty that touched the lives of many. Her passions in life were her two sons, family, friends and her job at Cardinal Health & BDC Travel. She is survived by her husband, Bruce & two sons, Justin and Nick of Columbus, OH, her parents, Louis & Ellie Peroni of Wheeling, WV, her sisters, Annie Peroni of Phoenix, AZ, Lisa & Michael Bennett of Munroe Falls, OH, Susan & Rick Robrecht of Wheeling, WV and brother, Dan & Julie Peroni and numerous nieces & nephews and countless friends who will miss her so much. We love you mom, we miss you and most of all we thank you for making us the people we are today. Friends will be received on Monday from 2-8pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger Street, Elm Grove. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. H. Joseph Wilhelm, S.M. as celebrant. Entombment will be held in Mt Calvary Cemetery
