200 yd Tactical Rifle Match

 

1200hrs. (noon)

Course of Fire: 5 shots in 5 minutes from any position  

(bench, prone, etc.)  in to each of the targets. 20 rounds total.

 

Targets: Man-size IPSC target partially covered by Hostage  

(No-shoot) target located 50, 100, 200, and 300 yds from firing line.  

 

 

Scoring: Modified IPSC/USPSA scoring rules will apply.  

5 pts for A hit, 4 pts for B hit, 3 pts for C hit, 2 pts for D hit,

-5 for Miss, -10 for Hostage hit.

Maximum possible score is 100

   

 

Firearms: Any safe rifle, Any sights. 

Ammo: Bring your own, any safe ammo

 

If there are enough participants, the rifles will be separated according to their weight. 

Sporting rifles under 8.5 lbs, and Match rifles over 8.5lbs.

 

Entry Fee: $3 per entry.  Multiple entries welcome.

 

 

Prizes: Cash prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers if we have enough

 registrations.  

 

 

The course of fire is designed to appeal to hunters as well as competitive shooters. The low round count keeps the cost down and reduces overall time for the match.  However, the course of fire is challenging enough that even the serious shooters will have a hard time firing a perfect score.  Any person with a deer rifle should enjoy this match.
