Conditions Governing Match:

1. Rules: This match was run in accordance with the rules set forth by the CMP Competition Rules.

2. Open To: Any individual eligible to compete under CMP Competition Rules.

3. Rifle: As issued U.S. caliber .30, M1903 Springfield, M1917 Enfield, M1 Garand, M1941 Johnson, and U.S. Carbine, caliber .30 M1.

4. Course of Fire: John C. Garand Match Course B (50 shot course)

First Stage: Slow fire prone (5 sight-in shots, 20 record shots), 25-minute time limit.

Second Stage: Rapid fire, prone from standing. (10 record shots in 70 seconds)

Third Stage: Rapid fire, sitting from standing. (10 record shots in 60 seconds)

Fourth Stage: Slow fire standing. (10 record shots in 10 minutes)

CMP ammunition was issued to each competitor.

A total of eighteen competitors shot in this year’s match and prizes were awarded to the top three shooters of Clairton Sportsmen’s Club’s 5^th annual John C. Garand Match. All competitors were given John C. Garand Match tee shirts. The weather cooperated perfectly with clear skies and mild temperatures.
